El Cajon Collaborative Chairs 2023 World Refugee Day Celebration
2023 saw the return of our World Refugee Day Celebration to a live event. This year we celebrated at Cuyamaca College with over 40 resource tables, entertainment from Haiti, Ukraine, Mexico, and Burma, with fun crafts and activities for the family. Over 200 participated at this year's event and three amazing refugees were awarded the 2023 SDRF Resilience Awards with certificates and $100 gift cards. We hope you will join us for our 2024 event in June. Thank you to our sponsors: Cuyamaca College, Public Consulting Group, HHSA East Region, and Dreams for Change Food Truck.
